This is an attempt to record some salient information about this family to which I belong.

It is a Syrian Catholic family that originated in Kerala, India, but today has diaspora in the UK, the US, Australia and the Middle East. It is a branch of the Karimattam Family of Central Travancore.

The Thalanany branch was established by my great great grandfather, Abraham Karimattam in the early 1800s.
